Ted Tanase

Mr. Tanase was the Chairman of Superbuild.com until its successful sale in June 1999.
He was Chairman of the Laird Norton Company and CEO of its largest subsidiary, Lanoga Corporation, a $3.0 billion revenue building material wholesaler/retailer which was sold to Fidelity in 2006.
Mr. Tanase received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from Wayne State University.

Mahran has 14 years of experience in successfully turning ideas into

developer and entrepreneur, he conceived and developed the Cancer

care information to patients with chronic diseases. He is also a member

Nancy Hooyman, Ph.D.

Dr.
Hooyman has over 25 years of experience in gerontological social work.
In her role as a professor and the Dean Emeritus at the University of
Washington, she has written numerous books, articles, and reports on the
subject of Gerontology specifically issues related to family caregiving.
Her textbook, (co-authored with Dr. Asuman Kiyak) Social Gerontology: A
Multidisciplinary Perspective,(7th edition) is one of the most widely
used texts in the field. In recognition of her contributions to
gerontological social work, Dr. Hooyman received the "Career Achievement
Award" from the Association for Gerontology Education in Social Work.
She recently completed a book, Living through Loss: Interventions across
the Life Span. Currently she chairs the United Way Senior Impact
Council, and serves on the board Senior Services of of King County and
four national geriatric initiatives through the John A. Hartford
Foundation.
Dr. Hooyman is the recipient of the School of Social Work's first
endowed Professorship in Gerontology and is current Principal
Investigator of the National Center for Gerontological Social Work
Education, funded by the John A. Hartford Foundation. |
Christine Hintz Fordyce, M.D.

Christine
Hintz Fordyce, MD, is Director of Geriatrics and Long Term Care and
Director of the Department of Geriatrics of Seattle-based Group Health
Cooperative. Group Health is the nation's largest consumer-governed
healthcare organization, serving over 600,000 residents of Washington
State and northern Idaho.
Dr. Fordyce, a board certified family practitioner, joined Group Health
in 1985 and is currently a practicing family physician in Seattle. She
is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington
Department of Family Medicine, and a diplomat of the American Board of
Family Practice. |
Malcolm A. Gleser,

Dr. Gleser has spent his career revolutionizing the way hospitals manage their information. As the co-founder of PHAMIS, Inc. he developed "Phamis" (Public Health Automated Medical Information System), later known as "LastWord", an information system to support the delivery of comprehensive health care services to Government Hospital and clinics and over 40 integrated health delivery systems before merging with IDX Systems Corporation and later with GE Healthcare.
After the mergers, Dr. Gleser continued the development of the LastWord product, now named "Carecast". He has worked with Mayo Clinic Foundation, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Stanford, Montefiore Medical Center, University of Nebraska and others to create the most comprehensive clinical system on the market today.
Dr. Gleser received his Bachelors and Ph.D. in Biomathematics from the University of Cincinnati, and his M.D. from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Priscilla Tanase

Ms.
Tanase is a major investor in Total Living Choices. She is a Director of
the Northwest Parkinson's Foundation and the Rainier Foundation, and was
an entrepreneur/founder in start up companies in clothing and shoe
retailing.
She developed one of the first Wellness/Fitness programs in the Puget
Sound area for women over 40 years old. For many years after receiving
her degree in Family Counseling, cum laude, from Arizona State
University,
Ms. Tanase was a practicing Family Counselor and involved in Crisis
Intervention and Rehabilitation. |
Kay E. Seim

Ms.
Seim has over twenty-five years of successful experience in healthcare
management and organizational leadership. Her background includes the
oversight of development and operations of 51 hospitals and long-term
care facilities throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Central Washington
University and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Seattle University
where she was honored as a Distinguished Alumnus.
Ms. Seim has been active on numerous local and national boards related
to health care quality standards and delivery systems. Her knowledge and
experience in facility design, operations, and quality of care combined
with counseling many elders and their families on choices of care gives
her a unique and comprehensive perspective on senior living choices. |
Greg Danielson

Mr.
Danielson has more than 30 years of experience in designing and building
infrastructure, augmenting financial and accounting controls and raising
capital, with more than 15 years in the technology sector. He served as
CEO of NetNanny, and CFO Tidemark Computer Systems, Innovis Corporation,
and Accountants Microsystems, an accounting and tax preparation software
company.
Mr. Danielson is a CPA, attending the University of Washington on a
track scholarship, earning his Bachelors degree, and his MBA from the
University of California, Los Angeles. |

Booth
Gardner is the Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Directors and Advisors.
Governor Gardner was Governor of Washington State from 1985-1993. From
1994-1998 he was the United States Ambassador to the World Trade
Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
Prior to his successful public career beginning as County Executive of
Pierce County in 1981, Governor Gardner was President of Laird Norton
Company for 11 years. He was also a Director of Weyerhaeuser
Corporation, Washington Mutual, Puget Sound National Bank (now Key
Bank), University of Puget Sound, the Laird Norton Trust Company, and
several organizations serving children and community organizations.
In addition to Total Living Choices, Governor Gardner is currently
Chairman of the Municipal Golf Club of Seattle and the Northwest
Parkinson’s Foundation. He is also a Director of the Central Area Youth
Association and on the Advisory Council of the Casey Foundation.
Governor Gardner speaks passionately for causes he believes in; he is
Lead Spokesperson for Sane Transit of Puget Sound. Governor Gardner
received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, and
his MBA from Harvard University. |
Larry A. Jones,

Larry
Jones is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Advisors of Total
Living Choices. As an elder law attorney, he helps seniors and their
families plan for care-giving needs when familial supports no longer
suffice. Larry Jones is an active member of the National Academy of
Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder Law Section of the Washington Bar
Association.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Washington (Seattle),
where he also received his law degree, Larry received a Ph.D. in Ethics
and Society from the University of Chicago Divinity School. He has been
honored with the Governor's Distinguished Volunteer Award for Washington
State. He serves on the External Advisory Committee for the University
of Washington Public Health Genetics Program. |
