Are all senior living environments the same?

No! Each senior living environment is different. Some have 250 residents while others may have just two or six. Some provide skilled nursing care 24-hours per day and others provide no nursing care at all. One option may have specific activities for residents who are bed-ridden. Another may arrange off-site excursions to museums or local parks. Meals and food service vary widely too. While you may think that 3 served meals per day would be common, some communities, depending on how independent residents are, might only serve 1 or 2 meals per day. Methods of payment vary too. One may accept Medicare or Medicaid, the next may not.
